Who Should Take The SSAT?
 
Students interested in attending private boarding schools, or independent secondary schools in the U.S., will need to take the SSAT. Admission officers will use SSAT score to judge the current and potential ability of the students to handle their school curriculum.

SSAT administrated in Elementary Level (Grades 3-4, available in the U.S. only), Middle Level (Grade 5-7) and Upper Level (Grade 8-11). It is designated to measure the students’ verbal, quantitative and reading skills acquired in and out of school.
