Capstone Intensive Course [Jun 2025]

Course Outline

Total hours: 60.5 - 64 Hours^
^:The Capstone module teaching hours allocation will be subjected to change based on the syllabus updates by HKICPA.

You can choose English Class (Mark Baines) or Cantonese Class (Patrick Lui) for Casptone M12, and only choose the same language (Cantonese/English) for M10, M11, M13, and M14.

Part 1
Study Strategies Session - Taky Lo (Cantonese/English)

Delivery Mode: Classroom+Online recap(Cantonese class)/ Online(English class)
Duration: 1.5 - 3 hours

The Capstone Study Strategies Session guide the students digesting the Capstone syllabus, how to achieve better performance during Capstone 3-days workshops and Final Exam, and how to analyse lengthy pre-seen materials and predict potential examinable areas including but not limited to:

• Thoroughly understand The Capstone syllabus and how Modules 10-14 are interrelated to each other;

• How to tackle the 3-days workshop, especially the individual assignment at Day 3; and

• How to digest and analyze the pre-seen case information released five business days before the final examination.

Part 2
Module 10 - Regulatory Environment 

Delivery Mode: Pre-recorded video + Online Recap
Duration: 3 hours

Course Description

• Cover the fundamental knowledge and the important topics of directors’ duties, listing rules, regulatory compliance and professional negligence.

• Provide the tailor-made handouts with relevant examples to help you understand the key legal principles and statutory requirements based on the Capstone syllabus.

•  Reinforce your knowledge and exam techniques with exam focused practice.

Module 11 - Financial Reporting
